Shane brings more than 25 years of award-winning brand strategy, graphic design, and development to A Great Idea. He is also a public speaker and lifelong harm reduction advocate for social justice through community organizing and education.
Yara-Nee is a developer-turned-Project-Manager from Kingston, Jamaica. Her day-to-day involves keeping the team on track, on time and within budget. She takes pride in being a Project 'Translator', being the bridge between the client and the creative team. When not working, she is editing videos for her travel YouTube channel.
J Martel is a communications worker and trans speculative fiction writer from Kentucky, now living in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Their work centers on collective belief and community resilience. When not working, J is usually out of breath in Pisgah Forest, inside of a story, or inchingly learning how to DIY repair their new-very old home.
My queer identity fuels my activism and community organizing by grounding me in the shared experiences of resilience, inspiring me to fight for justice, visibility, and liberation for all LGBTQ+ individuals.
I’m Eli Pastelín, a Social Media Management Specialist from Mexico with over 5 years of experience. I’m passionate about learning and exploring new tools and technologies to create impactful strategies. I keep a relaxed and enthusiastic approach because I genuinely enjoy what I do. When I’m not crafting content, you’ll find me diving into video games, sports, or anything fitness-related!
Mattie use’s multiple stages to get her point across. Whether it is followed by laughter as a comedian or listening to her discuss current topics on the her radio show. She became an international presence on the reality tv “ My Big Fat Fabulous Life”. You will always hear and see Mattie doing something to make room or is simply inventing space for all to feel welcome and inclusive. She is involved behind-the-scenes and on the mic for the AGI-produced podcast Power Beyond Pride.
I’ve spent over 20 years in the world of video and storytelling, working across documentaries, TV spots, animations, and digital campaigns. Whether through editing, motion graphics, or design, I love shaping ideas into visuals that connect and inspire. But what excites me most is still the same: bringing creativity to life and making stories feel real.
