National Economic Transition Platform Launch
Just Transition Fund

The organization played an integral role in a group effort to pull together the Platform but needed a document and site turned around in a very short time. As a collective effort, branding needed to be separate from any one participant.
To convey the depth and opportunity of the innovative platform for addressing employment needs in conjunction with climate change response, the document needed to demonstrate the human impacts and successes. The print version needed to stay light, legible, and professional while the digital version encouraged sharing and featured ongoing updates related to adoption.
The document and Wordpress-based site proved very popular and important tools in securing adoption of the platform as part of larger climate change funding discussions, including as part of national infrastructure bill.
AWARD RECOGNITIONS
Powerful Presentation
The National Economic Transition Platform is an incredible opportunity for local governments and leaders to see a climate-focused future where coal-based industries aren’t fueling the local economies. As an aggregate venture of dozens of tribes, organizations, and community-based nonprofits, the editorial design of the platform needed to be clear and capture the aspiration and ideas in an easy-to-understand way.
Calling to Action
The site has one primary purpose: encourage users to read or download the platform document. The user experience decisions reflect these primary goals, letting the website design‘s focus on the orange draw attention to the prominent buttons on desktop or taskbar on mobile.
The Complete Experience
Additional content gives the user more information as to the genesis of the platform, including a list of all the participating organizations and original article content.
How does brand identity design differ from brand strategy?
Brand identity design is the visual and creative expression of a broader brand strategy: it’s establishing how your brand looks. While brand strategy defines what your brand’s values, target audience, and market position are, brand identity design translates those elements into a visual language using elements like logos, color schemes, and typography.
What exactly is a landing page?
A landing page is a single, focused web page designed to drive a specific action—like donating, signing up, or registering—without the distractions of a full website.
Why is brand identity important?
A strong brand identity makes you stand out from others, makes it easy for people to recognize you, and builds trust. It shows what you stand for, what you’re trying to do, and how you’re going about that in a way that connects with your community.
What if we need multiple landing pages?
Our landing page development services can include template creation for a scalable system—a great option for annual campaigns, programmatic announcements, or multi-language announcements—or multiple unique page designs.
Do you offer ongoing support or maintenance?
Absolutely. We have ongoing retainers with many of our clients to perform regular maintenance and security patching. At the end of each project, though, we ensure our clients’ in-house web management teams have the tools and information they need to manage the website going forward.
