30th Anniversary Program Video
Guilford County Partnership for Children
Guilford County Partnership for Children needed a compelling way to honor three decades of advocacy for young children and families while looking ahead to what comes next.
AGI produced a 12-minute anniversary film weaving together the organization's history, programming, priorities, and future vision through interviews— shot in a single day with a four-person crew and brought to life with custom animation.
The film premiered at a packed anniversary event attended by state and local leadership and all organizational partners, with short social media excerpts extending the story far beyond the room.

Three Decades, One Story
The Guilford County Partnership for Children has spent thirty years championing early childhood education, family support, and smart public investment in Guilford County's youngest residents. When the organization approached its 30th birthday, it needed more than a retrospective — it needed a film that could hold the full arc of its history, its current programming, its priorities, and its vision for the next chapter in a single, emotionally resonant piece. AGI produced a 12-minute anniversary video that did exactly that, bringing together the people, the policy, and the children at the heart of the mission into one cohesive story. It is the kind of work that only an agency with deep equity roots can authentically deliver — centering community voices, honoring the legislative backbone of the program, and making sure the children themselves are heard. They premiered it at a live event to a packed hall with legislative and local leaders in education.
One Day, Four People, Three Voices That Matter
AGI captured the entire film in a single-day shoot at a child care center, with a lean four-person crew. The team interviewed three influential partners whose perspectives anchor the story: one of the original legislative leaders who helped found and champion the program, the current Executive Director, and a child care center owner with deep nonprofit experience working with young people. Each voice carries a different piece of the Partnership's legacy — the policy fight that created it, the leadership that sustains it today, and the on-the-ground expertise that turns mission into daily practice. The crew also interviewed children at the center and included them in the film, giving the audience the very people the organization exists to serve. That decision — to let children speak alongside the adults who advocate for them — is what separates a commemorative video from a story film with real stakes.
From Event Illustrations to Animated Storytelling
The Partnership had already commissioned an illustrator for its 30th birthday event. AGI worked alongside that illustrator, expanding their illustrations for use in the film's animation — turning static event artwork into motion graphics that carry the narrative between interviews and live footage. The result is a film that feels cohesive rather than assembled, with a visual language that ties the anniversary event, the film, and the organization's brand together. Beyond the full 12-minute piece, AGI delivered a suite of short social media excerpts cut from the film, giving the Partnership ready-to-share clips for their channels. The video launched at the anniversary event — a packed house with state and local leadership and all of the organization's partners in attendance — turning a birthday celebration into a shared moment of advocacy.
