FAI Website + Brand Update
FaithAction

FaithAction International sought to broaden its impact and regional recognition while increasing community-led opportunities.
Refine messaging and creative collateral to reflect the current organization, its focus on collaboration and measurable impact.
A Great Idea guided FAI’s board and staff through an assessment of its mission and vision to recalibrate itself to be a more community-led organization with clearer language to articulate its work and who it serves. Moreover, FAI’s basic brand assets (logo, typography) were redesigned to meet modern media applications.
AWARD RECOGNITIONS
Modern Marks
Faith Action International felt its previous logo no longer suited the organization at its present and could be better optimized for modern digital communication. However, the icon in its previous logo strongly represented community spirit. To give their logo a more modern feel, we created abstracted people icons that also read as the letters F and A. The letter A and the word Action in the wordmark were intentionally made orange to elevate and signal each other within the logo. Our redesigned icon preserved the community spirit of its predecessor and with updates to its palette and face type, A Great Idea built for them for a bolder, more confident logo.
Tagline, We’re It!
FaithAction International adopted new a tagline which we wrote to communicate their work with more directness and clarity. “Immigrant and refugee services to welcome, advocate, and empower” reinforces the idea of being action-oriented for those they serve.
Promotional Prowess
FaithAction’s new branding allows for new marketing assets to expand its visibility and reinforce the brand’s bolder palette and versatility of the logo and badge. Among these new pieces are a step-and-repeat for red carpet, photo opportunities, and table runners for outreach events.
How do I choose the right brand strategy consultant for my business?
Choosing the right brand strategy consultant is an important part of shaping your brand’s image and reputation. Take time to look at a potential consultant or agency’s past work by looking at their portfolio. Then, set up an initial meeting to ask questions and determine if their brand strategy process fits your needs, values, budget, and goals.
How does brand identity design differ from brand strategy?
Brand identity design is the visual and creative expression of a broader brand strategy: it’s establishing how your brand looks. While brand strategy defines what your brand’s values, target audience, and market position are, brand identity design translates those elements into a visual language using elements like logos, color schemes, and typography.
Can you print materials?
While we don’t do in-house printing, we can help you get your materials printed! This includes having final printed materials sent to you or printed near you for pickup. In the design process, we ensure your files are prepared to be sent to printers by ensuring correct sizing, bleeds, and file packaging.
How do I measure the success of my awareness campaign?
Success varies based on your goals for the campaign. At the beginning of our collaboration, we will define our shared metrics of success. This can include anything from uptake of a hashtag to signups for your event! We set up digital awareness campaigns to be trackable—that way, we can collect analytics that evaluate campaign success to inform your future strategy.
What if we need multiple landing pages?
Our landing page development services can include template creation for a scalable system—a great option for annual campaigns, programmatic announcements, or multi-language announcements—or multiple unique page designs.
